Discord offers two install options. To receive alerts, add it to a server:

Add to a server (required for alerts): Add it to any server you run or belong to. Discord only permits bots to send direct messages to users who share a server with them. All commands and replies are private to you, and nothing is visible to the rest of the server.
Add to your account (lookup only): Allows you to run /deals and check watches anywhere, but cannot deliver DM alerts without a shared server.

When you save your first watch, the bot sends an immediate confirmation DM so you know alerts can get through.

2. Create a watch

A watch is a saved filter. Run this in a direct message with the bot or in any channel:

/watch create name:good-value max_cpp:2.5 wine_type:Red

This triggers whenever a red wine reaches 2.5c per point or better. Choose any name you like to identify the watch later.

To check your filter against current stock without waiting for an alert:

/watch test good-value

Shows what currently matches your filter without waiting for a store update or sending a notification.

3. Valuation: cents per point

Cents per point (cpp) measures what each bonus point costs you in cash. Lower is better.

A $474.00 case earning 24,000 bonus points works out to 1.94c per point. Set max_cpp:2.5 to alert on deals at 2.5c or better. If you prefer calculating in points earned per dollar, use min_ppd instead (higher is better; 50 ppd equals 2.0 cpp).

`/unsubscribe`	Delete all watches and remove your stored user record.

Filters

Filter	Description
`max_cpp` · `min_ppd`	Maximum cents per point, or minimum points per dollar.
`wine_type`	Red, White, Mixed, or Sparkling.
`varietal` · `region` · `brand`	Filter by grape, region, or producer.
`max_price` · `min_price`	Case price in dollars.
`min_bonus`	Minimum bonus points on the case.
`case_size`	1, 6, or 12 bottles per case.
`green_tier`	Restrict to Qantas Green Tier eligible wines.
`also_discounted`	Restrict to wines with a discounted shelf price.

Autocomplete suggests valid options from current stock as you type.

How it works & privacy

Case pricing: All prices, bottle counts, and bonus points apply to the full case, matching store listings.
Alert timing: Checked and sent as soon as the store updates. Messages only trigger on new matching offers or improved rates. If more than five wines match at once, they arrive as a single digest.
Delivery issues: If direct messages fail three consecutive times (e.g. DMs disabled or shared server left), alerts are paused. Re-enabling DMs or sharing a server automatically clears the block on the next run.
Stored data: Stores only your Discord user ID, saved watch criteria, and delivery timestamps. No email, messages, or personal details are collected. Running /unsubscribe removes all records immediately.
